The Island Queen Is Moving!

Dearest readers,

It is with mixed emotions that I write today.

These emotions can be classified with traffic light colors.
I am leaving Diamond Island for the next two years to finish my schooling elsewhere. However, I do not know WHERE to go. There are two options: Athens or New York City.
Since this is a democracy and the school I attend could potentially change how I rule Diamond Island, I have created a poll and plan to take its results into account.
So have fun voting! It's all up to you!

SAVE THE  FROGS!

Much love,
Island Queen

Returning to Diamond Island

As you all may remember, I chose to leave Diamond Island because I saw a war brewing. I was fearful that the fish would attempt to murder me or that I would get stuck in the middle of a huge war between East Diamond Island and West Diamond Island. Those were scary times. However, I decided that conditions on the island were safe enough for my return. Plus, I just couldn't turn down the invite to a seafood banquet! The times are still dangerous, however, and since my return I have taken the following precautions to protect myself from death. Because you never know. Island diplomacy is still a bit... well... fishy.

My List of Precautions in this Dangerous Time on the Island:

1) I decided to move away from the beach to avoid possible fish attacks striking the coastline. I have purchased a secluded home in the mountains of Diamond Island, near the middle of the Eastern Half. It's safer here, away from the coast. No more beachy weather or building sandcastles, or mermaid watching. Oh, but no more fish danger either.

My beachfront home is for sale! Any takers? You might get eaten up by fish but thats okay because I need to sell this now.
No, you can't come in... you're probably a fish in disguise. Unless you're volunteering to be my dinner. I sea food!
My new home is somewhere way up there... but you can't have my address in case you're a fish.

2) I have an escape plan. In the event of more fish attacks, I board my private helicopter, and off I go in the Speedboat Island Queen gave me as a return present!

3) Oh, and don't worry, my diet includes large amounts of seafood.

Yes. I'm on a seafood only diet.
I truly hope that there is no more war on the island so that it may be my permanent residence. I don't want to have to leave again! However, if the fish don't return to the sea and Diamond Island isn't re-united within 2 months, I'm afraid I will have to move off the island permanently.

The State of the Island: Friday, April 1st, 2011

Dear readers,
I've decided to change my sadistic and manipulative ways and fight for the good of the community.
April Fools.

This week on Diamond Island, the Islanders, the Fish, and the Queen met for a banquet. I was unable to attend for the majority of the gathering, however I was present for the highlight; evidently, her majesty was unaware of how much land had been flooded. I quite enjoyed her shock, and applaud her on being so in touch with her country (total island sarcasm).

All in all, the island experienced a sizable step backward in diplomacy.

I found it very amusing.

The New Geography of Diamond Island

Hello, dearest Islanders!
I have some *very* exciting news to give you all! As many of you know, yesterday was the Seafood Banquet, where I invited several friends to come and raise awareness against the violent fish rebellions that have been plaguing our country these past few months.

This picture represents a rather bad pun.

I would love to tell you all about who was in attendance, but I have decided to reserve that information for the Society Gems magazine (their blog post should be coming out sometime next week!)
However, since many diplomatic changes occurred, I felt that I should update you on the current status of our beloved island. You see, not only my friends were invited...I had also extended an invitation to the Black Fish! I hoped to develop a more amicable relationship, and I do think that we have begun down the right path to accomplishing just that.
During the party, the Black Fish announced that they had flooded 21/23rds of the island. You can imagine my fury, when I had wished for more friendly diplomatic ties between the two of us, and I immediately declared this fraction to be "debatable." However, it soon became clear that the area that had been flooded (its size still remains debatable) was the unexplored territory we had not wanted. Therefore, I told the Black Fish that the land she had flooded, she could keep. No civilians were harmed in this process, nor was any land actually lost.

In other words, this did not happen.

I had believed that the Black Fish was satisfied with these arrangements. However, judging from their most recent blog post, it seems that the war will continue.
I will be posting the most recent Diamond Island Map (which includes the fish's territory) as soon as it is made. In the meantime, know that these events have not changed any fundamental aspect of life on Diamond Island. This, I am sorry to say, includes the safety measures that were put in place. Please continue to follow these to protect yourself and your family.

On a happier note, during the Seafood Banquet, we developed a new Pledge of Allegiance!

I pledge allegiancecensjdlkfhskdj
to the Island
and all of its diverse species and cultures
And to the diamond that made it rich
one island,
under mother nature,
divided,
with peace and aquatic habitats
For all.

All the guests signed the first draft of this pledge, and it now proudly hangs in the Palace.

Until next time, dear readers!

Much love,
Island Queen

a quick note from the fish

yay! that was our 50th post! *does the island's national dance a few times in celebration* and a "warm" welcome to our newest blogger
Yes. this is what google came up with when i seached "50th celebration." Thus, I am happy to report that our blog is officially "aged to perfection"

Anyway, wow, I thought the humans were obvious, but blatenly saying you are joining my army only to take me down from the inside?? No offense, but It's like sometimes creatures just forget that fish have access to the internet and can read...
yes, I even have allies on desktop backgrounds and screensavers on most computers...amazing where you can find fish to join your evil army these days, huh?
You know I was actually excited to relax on a peaceful island and put the war on hold for a while, but threats like these just can't be ignored. So much for our "truce" and "amicable" dinner.  But alas, I supposed some wars just can't be solved with some fruit roll up sushi and a few glasses of root beer...*sigh*. But anyway, I wouldn't try  joining our army undercover because I have already warned all of our recruiting agents (including the digital ones). So just remember citizens of this island, not to sound creepy (although I guess that's my job), but: The fish are always watching you...The. Fish. Are. ALWAYS. Watching. You.
THE.
FISH.
ARE.
ALWAYS.
WATCHING.
YOU.
Yes, google images does have some very odd results when you search "evil fish."
Hmm....I guess that explains the classic Diamond Island saying, "goodnight, don't let the black fish's agents bite"
Toodles,
The BLACK fish

Melody's Tail (hahaha, get it? I have a tail because I'm a mermaid, and I'm telling my tale)

Hello everyone!

My name is Melody, Princess of the Merfolk. Or, I used to be a princess. Long before the evil black fish took over the island, the ocean was filled with merfolk that happily swam about and interacted with both fish and humans. We kept the peace between the two races, and my grandpa, King Triton, always made sure to give the island folk the best weather possible, and my mother Princess Ariel and father Prince Eric always made sure that everyone was happy.
Weren't we such a cute family long before the black fish existed?
That is until the attack. The black fish came in with her army of minions, slaughtering all the good people of our species. If it wasn't for the fact that I was hiding away in my secret underwater cave, I would have been dead, just like them. Now, you all must be wondering how a fish could take over mermaids. Well, we had traitors among us, who are still allied with the black fish.

Since that day, I have vowed to get revenge on the fish that ruined my life. Having openly joined the black fish's ranks, I plan on taking her down from the inside. (My alliances, of course, are with the Island Queen and her beautiful daughter, Daisy).

On a different note, when I googled my parents to see what photos came up, I was shocked, and quite disgusted, to find this one appearing ten (yes, I actually counted ten) times:
Hey, this kind of reminds me of the picture Daisy found of Aladdin!

A Mildly Entertaining Story

Dearest Islanders,
I only have time for a short post, but since I haven't written in a while, I thought I'd share a mildly entertaining story:
Today, as I was visiting this blog and responding to my daughter's wonderful blog post, I began clicking around in the fish gadget we have displayed on the side. Then I realized that, by doing so, I was inadvertently feeding the Black Fish.
Oops.

That's all folks! Check back soon for the Society Gem's coverage of my Seafood Banquet, which is coming up in exactly 9 minutes!

Much love,
Island Queen

SNEAK PEEK: Seafood Banquet Coming Up!

Hello to all you readers!
Of course, this blog is the clear place to get news. With such island favorites as Diamond Giver, Genevieve Millianette, Island Queen, dark figures such as Azlyn and the Fish, and our very own princess Daisy, this blog has become the hottest place on the internet!
However, everyone felt that it was missing one thing. Sure, you readers come here for news. But what about the hot, juicy celebrity gossip?
Society Gems Magazine has been granted exclusive access to this blog, where we hope to give you all the best coverage of the inside lives of your favorite celebrities!
Today, we start with a special SNEAK PREVIEW of our next issue, where we have been granted exclusive permission to cover the Island Queen's Seafood Banquet! This event is being held to raise awareness against the Fish Rebellions, and, as the only magazine allowed inside, we are sure to give you all the details you want to hear!

EXCLUSIVE! Our working cover for this weekend's issue

And here is the leading paragraph of our featured article: Why The Postponing?

While the Fish ravage the countryside, a Seafood Banquet is being planned within the walls of the Island Queen's palace. This party was intended to raise funds for the anti-Fish movement, a cause that would save our island from possibly years of war. And yet, today, the Island Queen postponed her party to next Saturday. This cancellation brings up a lot of questions. What were her motives? Many have rumored of possible other plans (any hot dates we don't know about?), but some have accused her of being in alliance with the fish. Others insist that their beloved Queen could not possibly have anything to do with the rebellions tearing her country apart. Others have asked: what is next for our country? Will the fish see this as a victory? Many are inclined to think not, but some have already heard rumors of another fish attack that got out of hand. We are still awaiting a comment from either the Queen or the Fish themselves to confirm or deny this report.
Response from her guests, for the most part, seems rather joyous. "YES YES YES!!! :D :D so happy" said Diamond Giver, one invitee, in a private message. Already several have responded that they will still attend this postponed event. But this does not answer the fundamental question: Why did the Island Queen postpone her party in the first place? We at Society Gems believe we have uncovered the answer.

Read the rest of the article, and more on the Fish Rebellions, the Diamond Island Split with Azlyn, and more in the upcoming issue of Society Gems Magazine!

Not swimmin' with the fishes!

Greetings humble islanders!

Your beautiful island noblewoman has safely returned home! I know you all have missed my darling blog posts that once graced your computer screen! Woe is me that I have not written in so long. Nevertheless, in my defense, I was forced to flee my home. I know that all the peasants are probably thinking "Oh, but Genevieve, the most magnificently gorgeous human being to ever touch their feet to land [which is of course inaccurate because I'm too rich and important to have my toes come in contact with soil...eww!] you  blessed us with the knowledge of your epid, your mobile internet device." To my dismay, my epid fell out of my llama skin coat pocket as I was walking up to Azlyn Aeron's castle. Into her mote of pirañas.
He thinks technology is delicious.
With a sliding of extremely expensive technology against llama pelt, one of the only epids on Earth was lost. Thus, on my journey from Azlyn's home to mine, I could not communicate.
The journey was brutal, I had to spend a whole half-hour (30 minutes of torture!) riding one of the giant fish that was enslaved since the war. We travelled along the coast until I reached the wreckage that had once been my estate.
It was a disaster! Dead fish strewn across my lawn, the leftovers of war (no food pun intended, those beasts are not in my taste!) Fish were piled in every room. A few smart ones had managed to live in the bathtub for a while...
My feline Domitus Enobarbus wasn't thrilled.
yet soon realized that soap isn't fish food.
Naturally, I was rather upset (I had lost 1000,00000,00000 of my 100000,00000,000,00000,000000,000000,0000000 in that palace!) Not to mention some family heirlooms, such as my mother's hairbrush and my first 1000-dollar bill [rewarded to me when I was five for dusting a lamp... never doing that painstaking chore again!] Yet I recruited some 100,000,000 peasants to rebuild my gorgeous place of residence (and I gave them the sickly looking fish, which I believe is a fair exchange for the very little I ask of them.)
So my mansion has returned to full beauty and perfection! My llamas ran away though, so my llama farm project has been somewhat setback, though I will inform you of my future ventures!

From the beautiful,
Fitz Lady Genevieve Vertiline Constance Esther Rowena Millianette

Also, regarding recent events in our country's history, the splitting of Diamond Island does not concern me at all. I am great friends with both the Island Queen and Azlyn, thus I have no complaints. Not to mention my palace is directly in between the two nations. Yet I hope to someday (when I get my affairs, and llamas, in order) to establish the land on which my palace resides as a neutral ground between the two nations (such as Washington D.C. in the United States.)

Vacation, Peace Talks, and Other News

Hello, Diamond Island citizens!
I have some very important and exciting topics to discuss today.
First of all....Vacation. These lovely weeks off are pretty rare at my school, so this is very exciting.

Of course, when this is your backyard, who needs vacation?

Now, as a responsible leader who cares about my country/island so much, I decided to spend this vacation in Greece.

No, seriously, I promise... it's a work-related trip....

Must...work....

I came here to enlist the help of this wonderful country in our battle against the fish. Now, since I believe in an open relationship between the all-powerful, wonderful, supreme ruler (me), and the citizens (you), I will tell you all about my meeting with Greek officials.

The meeting began an hour late. This, I am told, is very Greek. Then we had a rather large breakfast, which I was happy about, because an hour is a long time, and I get hungry pretty quickly. After that, we had a post-breakfast chat about the weather and organized a lunch date.

I am not doing a very good job of convincing you all that I am WORKING, am I?

Anywho, after our pleasant chat on a wide variety of topics (none of which included the ones we were scheduled to discuss), we had lunch.
Yes, yes, I know, we were supposed to get some work done, but keeping up with my commitments (ie, the lunch date) is very important for the image of our island.
After lunch, we walked around and sat down for a coffee around mid-afternoon. It was then that I brought up the peace talks, which we postponed to the following day. After coffee we parted. I went home to my hotel where I got ready for a party with some friends repented the fact that I didn't get any work done.

This was not me. At all.

The next day, our meeting was only half an hour late. Following the beginning of the meeting (where the list of topics we were to discuss was read aloud), we took a short break for breakfast. Okay, fine, it was a long break. But, once that break was over, we got right to work.
The diplomats I was meeting with said that, though they had admired our island's aims, they felt that we had deviated from our original purpose, which was, of course, world peace. They readily pointed out the fish rebellions, which began mere weeks into the establishment of our country, and the splitting of my lands with Azlyn Aeron. However, I convinced them that these actions were all for the best, and that world peace would soon be brought about by our island.
Once they believed that our aims remained the same, and would soon be successful, they were quick to agree to my propositions:

1) That we enlist as much help as possible in our battle against the fish. They offered several of their best spies, who are infiltrating fish ranks as we speak.

2) That we enlist as many countries as possible in our quest for world peace. Of course, peace cannot be established without the consent of all countries involved (and, since our aims are world peace, that would be every country.)

3) Eat lunch promptly

With all three aims having been agreed to (and an excellent lobster ravioli with sauce served), we continued to discuss the wonders of ruling a nation with several beaches. They were particularly jealous of the excellent real estate offered for all citizens in my country.

And so, dearest readers, our peace talks went well. I will be returning home shortly (well...maybe not TOO shortly...there is still so much to experience discuss)

Now that I have covered the vacation and peace talks, I will move on to other news.
I have convinced Diamond Giver to return to our island!

But not in a green canoe.

I hope to welcome Diamond Giver back with a party--and what better theme than a seafood party? We will celebrate the return of our friend and the soon-to-be downfall of the fish.

However, there will be no seafood. Because I do not like seafood.
This party will be the event of the year!
Until next time, citizens and readers.

Much love,
Island Queen

Where World Peace Has Gotten To: A Response to Diamond Giver

Dearest friend,

We will miss you terribly when you leave our island, though I understand your decision to go. The island has become a place full of rebellion, and I encourage any frightened islanders to leave in order to protect their own safety and that of their families.

Lest this should every happen to you.

However, I wish to address the issue of world peace, which we have promised in the beginning of this blog.
We will attain world peace, in your lifetime. The island will succeed in this. However, the path to world peace is not always peaceful.
As the Romans said, Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum, or If you seek peace, prepare for war.

And, clearly, the Romans were very peaceful.

We will avoid outright battle at all costs. As we have done with Azlyn Aeron, we will find a peaceful solution with the fish. Hopefully.
Some people have wondered about the outcome of my negotiations with Azlyn. I can explain this by saying that we did not want war. Both our halves have open borders and peaceful relations. No islander lost any property or anything at all during these negotiations.
Others are confused about the fish. (Let's face it-these days, who isn't?) I can explain everything we know here.

...

We don't know anything. You now know everything.

But, not to worry! We have spies at every corner, and soon we will know everything there is to know! And world peace will flourish!
And then the world will be united!

This is a rather poor attempt at humor.

So, fear not, Diamond Giver! This island will bring about world peace. Soon.

Love,
Island Queen

PS.  If you ever need better travel accommodations, let me know.

What Happened To World Peace?

With all of these fish rebellions and the splitting of the island, we might as well just call this blog Partial Island Dominance.

Sound familiar, anyone? History Repeating itself...
Due to the recent violence that has occurred on Diamond Island, I have made the decision to move my residence off of the island until World Peace and Total Dominance has been restored. I feel like our government has become corrupt and there is way too much violence which is obscuring our original vision for peace. I will only move back to the island when I receive my long awaited invitation to the Grand Seafood Banquet! (which has been delayed for quite too long) For now, I say goodbye to all my fellow islanders and depart in...

a lovely green canoe!

Is there something wrong with that? The airfares were a bit ridiculous for this time of year so, I'm taking a different approach. Wish me luck on my trip to my new residence. I will blog when I arrive. For now, I will stay on this heart shaped Island, watching the news every night, awaiting the end of the violence on Diamond Island.

State of the Island: Rebellions and other Rumpus

This blog consists mainly of ordinary blog posts which are random and have no connection with each other. However, in recent weeks, a plot has emerged!

To help new readers, readers who haven't read in a while, or readers who are confused by all the goddamn fish, we have decided to start a weekly blog plot summary. While it will be written by different members of the island, this week's summary will be by the Island Queen

Dearest Islanders,

Hello and welcome back! The Emergency Blog Shutdown, which was established earlier this week in a desperate safety measure against the fish, has finally ended, so we are back on the web! Of course, the fish are still at large, but my Safety at War administration tells me that they hope the fish will be brought to justice soon. In the meantime, we encourage all islanders to be safe and expect you all to follow these simple safety measures, outlined in an earlier post.
During the Emergency Blog Shutdown, the negotiations between Azlyn Aeron and myself came to a peaceful conclusion. The terms of our agreement will not change the lives of any islanders-I have merely given Azlyn half the island. My half will continue to include the town, as well as the respective mansions of my friends, family, and myself. There will be a small section of the island dedicated to the resort where people may come visit, and the town and its surrounding villages will continue to be used as housing for the islanders. To learn more on Azlyn's views on this negotiation, read her blog post.

And so, dearest fellow citizens, welcome back!
Love,
Island Queen

So that's what happened this week on the Island. If you want to read a specific Islander's posts, please follow the links below.

Victory is Mine

Dear friends, today is an auspicious day indeed, shining more brightly than the whole of our illustrious history.
Shining so very brightly.
For today, I stand before you not as Azlyn Aeron, but as Queen Azlyn Aeron of West Diamond Island. The fish have been confronted and seem to have retreated to the oceans, and in exchange for my victory, the Island Queen bestowed upon me one half of the island.

Yes, this Island.
The island is now two autonomous nations, each with full sovereignty. They have open borders and are very friendly towards each other. On East Diamond Island are the resort and all the other inhabitants. On West Diamond Island is my castle. The only exception to this is Genevieve Millianette, whose mansion is on the border between the two.

How to describe my joy? I have finally achieved my goals of domination! Everything I ever wanted and I can retire before growing a single gray hair! But still, something felt... empty, somehow.

I didn't understand what was missing, until I realized the one thing I truly lack is something that money cannot buy.

Luckily, what money cannot buy, more money can.
And once I put the tank full of narwhals in the southern wing, my life felt complete.

Fitz as a Prefix

Genevieve:
Those of you who have been tossing and turning in your beds, worrying about my condition should be relieved to know that I have found shelter. While trekking through a field of wheat (in my tan llama skin coat, of course! I need to blend in) I came across an extremely dark, menacing-looking castle. You could imagine my extreme confusion, seeing a stone mass covered in gargoyles in the middle of a wheat field. Not to mention it had inexplicable clouds and lightening striking the tallest tower every few seconds.
Naturally, I went in through the conveniently ajar door. The inhabitant of this mansion obviously liked bread, and golly, I missed crust less cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches.
The castle’s owner was Azlyn, the daughter of Azula, famous for her demented lightening powers and even more demented scene of insanity which concluded her screen time on “Avatar: The Last Airbender.” Having seen the show and mentioned my Zutara opinions in past blog posts, I was surprised to meet her on Diamond island (not starstruck, of course, that only happens when I look in the mirror!)

Azlyn: When I noticed that my visitor was none other than Genevieve Millianette, of course I invited her in. I had been yearning for high class company for weeks! I had the servant set up my nicest guest room for her stay.
Third nicest, actually, the others are being redecorated.

Genevieve: Our perspectives on life somewhat contrast, her desiring island domination and being generally evil. However, we both got along quickly because of our high level of class and love of Bumblebee Bat cashmere (which most cannot imagine, let alone afford, did I mention llama cashmere is 100,000,0000000000$ per square inch?)

Azlyn: How can you see this picture and not think "cardigan"?

Azlyn: However, Genevieve has an unfortunate tendency to choose very cheerful colors, while I prefer black and dark shades of blue and red. In any case, our mutual good taste is something I am very grateful for.

Genevieve: During lunch this morning, Azlyn was telling me about a novel she was reading titled “Pride and Prejudice.” I did not have much to say, since I stopped reading the novel when Mr.Darcy was introduced (he was such a surly reeling-ripe flax wrench, the dankish hedge-born apple john!) Needless to say I had a perfectly good reason.

Azlyn: I find the novel rather fascinating despite my hatred of both romance and popular books. However, I made an interesting observation that will be detailed below.

Genevieve: Nevertheless, she told me that Mr.Darcy’s first name was Fitzwilliam. Now, Fitzwilliam may be a mewling dizzy-eyed hedge pig, but he did have class. He had a class that Azlyn and I did not possess, so we needed to discover how he gained it.

Azlyn: I personally disagree with that analysis. My insurmountable measures of class are demonstrated by every black marble stone in my palace.

Genevieve: At first we came to the conclusion that in order to have class you need two names (I, of course, have four excluding my last name, which means I officially outdid Fitzwilliam in class.)

Azlyn: But after exploring this possibility, it was noted that BillyBobJoe would also have to be considered “classy”, and thus the theorem crumbled and we were forced to explore other options. That is when we noticed it. What is Fitzwilliam without “Fitz”? Merely "William”, a rather common name.

Genevieve: We realized that the “Fitz” prefix on Mr.Darcy’s name is what made him truly classy. Thus, I officially dub myself:

Fitz Lady Genevieve Vertiline Constance Esther Rowena Millianette

Azlyn: And I shall consider the addition of Fitz to my name, so that it would read: Fitz Azlyn Aeron.

Although someday, it will Queen Czarina Empress Sultaness Cheiftess Fitz Azlyn Aeron, the Almighty and Magnificent Ruler of the Universe.

Genevieve: Concluding, I thank you, Azlyn, for opening my eyes to a new degree of class that I humbly admit I did not have before.
Awesome insults credits to Shakespeare: http://www.pangloss.com/seidel/Shaker/index.html?

Azlyn: Indeed, Genevieve, I accept your gratitude and hope you will stay at my castle as long as you choose.

New Safety Measures

Dearest Citizens,

Those of you who have been around these past few weeks (or read the weekly State of the Island update) will know that our lovely island is under attack from a band of unruly fish. Already they have attacked my dearest friend Genevieve Millianette, and impersonated people to make their band seem larger.
Now, to avoid the same fate as our favorite Noblewoman, I recommend that all of you citizens of Diamond Island follow these simple safety procedures.

1. Create a salt circle around your house each night.
This simple circle will protect your family from being attacked at night, as Genevieve Millianette was. Do this before nightfall, as the fish strike quickly. Interaction with the salt will dry the fish out quickly. (for more information on fish night strikes, read this.)

No, this has nothing to do with Saftey Tip 1. But it is much cuter than a dried fish.

2. Refrain from going to the beach for recreation
The fish's main base is, obviously, the water. Avoid swimming in the sea (just use your swimming pools, people. Every house on the island has one!). In fact, it would be best to avoid the beach entirely. The island offers a wide variety of recreation. Go to town or something.

Clearly, shopping is much more fun than THIS.

3. Ignore propaganda posted here from the fish
The fish have managed to infiltrate our blog. Do not, under any circumstances, take anything posted by them to be the truth. This week, they impersonated Azula in a message to Azlyn Aeron. Fortunately, Azlyn saw right through their despicable plot, and she joined forces with us to destroy the hateful fish.
If the fish post anything more on this blog, wait until confirmation from an islander appears, either in the comments or in another post, before acting.

Your wait will probably not be as desolate as this.

4. Act
There are many ways you can help in this war to defeat the fish. Develop an interest in seafood. Suddenly have a passion for fishing. Make friends with refugees who have lost their homes in fish attacks. The ways are endless.

Yum?

5. Constant Vigilance!
One of the most frightening aspects of these fish attacks is that we do not know who they are. We suspect that the person behind these attacks is one of our very own group of islanders, because who else has access to our blog? Therefore, be careful. Be a fish detective!

Though this image does not seem to provide much of an incentive to be like this guy.

So, fellow islanders, we have dark times ahead of us before we can finally establish our island as a beacon of hope and world peace for the rest of the world. Be careful, follow these safety tips, and join us in the attack!

The State of The Island: Febuary 5th, 2011

This blog consists mainly of ordinary blog posts which are random and have no connection with each other. However, in recent weeks, a plot has emerged!

To help new readers, readers who haven't read in a while, or readers who are confused by all the goddamn fish, we have decided to start a weekly blog plot summary. While it will be written by different members of the island, this week's summary will be by Daisy:
